2001 - proposed national renumbering

Ray Chow noted (as of February 2005): "in 2001 POTRAZ (regulator) announced a new numbering scheme with 3-digit area codes for fixed services, but this appears not to have happened, as the latest information from ITU doesn't mention them at all."

1995-1996: trunk and international prefix changes

Some time during 1995-1996, the previous trunk prefix '1' was changed to '0'. The international prefix was also changed from '110' to '00'.
